Air Algérie has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire seven widebody aircraft in a strategic move to bolster its commercial expansion.

With this order, Air Algérie will capitalize on the versatility of Airbus’ product range, enhancing its regional services and presenting an ambitious plan for transcontinental destinations. By incorporating the A330neo and the A350-1000, the airline will benefit from significant operational advantages, including a remarkable 25 percent reduction in fuel burn per seat and enhanced flexibility due to the shared commonality among Airbus aircraft.

Both the A330neo and A350 feature the renowned Airspace cabin, providing passengers with an excAireptional level of comfort, ambiance, and design. This encompasses spacious individual seating, expanded overhead storage, state-of-the-art lighting systems, and access to cutting-edge in-flight entertainment and connectivity options.

As the latest generation of Airbus widebody aircraft, the A330neo Family is equipped with Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines, enabling the A330-900 variant to achieve non-stop flights of up to 7,200 nm / 13,334 km. Remarkably, the A330 Family has garnered 1,775 firm orders from 130 global customers by the end of April 2023, solidifying its status as the most sought-after widebody family and dominating the short- and medium-haul market.
