Ethiopian Airlines named best airline in Africa for 7th consecutive time


The Addis Ababa based Ethiopian Airlines, the largest aviation group in Africa and Skytrax Certified 4-Star global airline, was announced 2018 Best Airlines in Africa, 7th time in a row, by the African Airlines Association (AFRAA) during its 50th Annual General Assembly (AGA) held in Rabat, the Kingdom of Morocco.

The award was given on November 27, 2018 in recognition of the airline’s exceptional financial performance and customer service.

The Group CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, Mr. Tewolde GebreMariam, remarked, “We are thrilled to win this prestigious award.  In the last seven years, we have been coming to AFRAA AGA and receiving this continental high-profile award every single year.
